Wednesday 8th October was the 20th WINDY DAY meeting: Annual discussion day for aeolian research in Oxford. I will be talking in the morning session about: Rapid assessment of (range finder) luminescence ages? as applied to the Namib Sand Sea.
The meeting was dedicated to the memory of Stephen Stokes, iniator of the Windy Day meetings. The photo on the left was not a ‘windy day’ in Oxford, but is from Chesil Beach.
